It's Monday! What am I reading? - 2

What are you reading? is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.

This week was pretty packed. I got through
The Maze Runner by James Dashner
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
Pirate King by Laurie R King

I read a bit of How to Live Safely in a Science Fictional Universe, but it's so depressing. This one will be hard for me to get through.

I didn't make any headway on Lies of Locke Lamora. I might have to move that one off my "currently listening" tab and move on. It's just not holding my interest.

This week is the start of Jenn's Bookshelves' Murder, Monsters and Mayhem, which I'm really excited about. I've also signed up for Stainless Steel Droppings' RIP VI. I don't read much horror, so it will be good to catch up on some titles off my shelf. Here's the list of the scary stories I hope to read.

That's it for me this week. What are you reading?

  4. Shelia - I hope you're liking Night Circus. I can see why it's getting such good reviews.

    Shelleyrae - Thanks! You, too.

Cat - You've gone through some good ones as well.

    Thanks for stopping!

  7. I really enjoyed the The Maze Runner and I can't wait to read The Night Circus. I had been waiting to get it for an author event, but realized I won't be in town for it so I must go grab it ASAP.

  8. I'm halfway through Pirate King. What is keeping me from finishing the books I have going? A new kitten! Come see what I'm reading.

  9. Megan - I think Scorch Trials is even better than Maze Runner. That sucks you won't be around for the author event. At least you live in an area where they have them!

Puss - Pirate King did not hold my interest, either. Hopefully the next one will be more fun.

  11. Bookmagic - I'm glad you liked it. Night Circus does have its good parts. It sure is the season for scary stories. It was so cold here today, perfect for staying in and reading.
